Had an eventful day. I got a new tune from JLP last night that i put on the car. the dyno tune i had done had issues, i mentioned that they set the red line to 7200 even though i had repeatedly told them the factory fuel cutoff was 7500. i have also had problems with the car surging and stalling. generally i wasn't pleased at all with the way the car ran in the insane heat we've had.

the JLP tune came in and johnny gave me his cammed tune. i thought all cammed tunes were dead, but johnny whipped up his own file not using any of Ford's lovin so he can sell it all he wants. We are doing a bit of data logging to tweak it all out and i got a second revision just a bit ago to try out tomorrow. i had the original tune on the car and went to a car show today and every one loved the sound, even the mopar guys. It sounds awesome. since i have headers and a catted x on the car it may be louder and deeper thanks to that alone, but it sounds like a drag car. the whole car lopes, it's great. I'll toss the new revision on tomorrow and shoot a quick vid so you guys can hear it. sounds so good.

My LS brake cooling ducts came in Friday and i was all ready to install this weekend. i cracked the box and like someone else mentioned they didn't pack the LS open inserts for the fascia that are listed in the instructions. naturally they were already closed. i'll see how that install goes next weekend if i can get the other fascia inserts in that are open on the back already.
