I'm getting ready to sell my 2012 Boss 302 to Carmax. It currently has 6,400 miles. I didn't get to order it but pick it up when the original guy couldn't take it. I have tons of documents on it and even bought the 5 year/60k warranty for it.

It does not have Recaros or Torsen. It's Comp Orange and in pefect shape.

So, my question is this, do I take $41,000 for this car?

Holy crap that is nuts. That is a killer deal for a used Boss with 6k miles on it. Sounds like CARMAX is going to mark it up over MSRP.

 

 

Yeah take it, a dealership in Al, just sold their new BOSS with the goodies for 1600 under invoice. I really thought hard on that one. But it was a KB, and i want red or orange. Ronn

$41k for this car $4k above invoice not including freight or advertising. Still, those two items are only about $1,300. Carmax is nuts.

 

I would have thought for maybe......a split second before jumping on it and flipping it.....that is if it was really available for 1600 under invoice. I know I could have sold it to my dealer for invoice and he'd have it out the door by the end of the day based on their current waiting list.

 

So ya used it for 6k and still get offered the MSRP for a new one, from a DEALER??!!!
