any of you guys in the dallas area with cars on the ground up for eagles canyon on May 7, two weeks form today. $150 for teh day and all you need is a helmet

I will be on Gingerman in West Michigan May 9 with an instructor and Mid Ohio with an instructor on May 20. I can't wait! I want to get the most out of Miller Motorsports park with they kick off the Track-Attack.

 

im nto sure, i need to ask when they call for my CC info next week. actuallky it says proper sealing and venting, i think ours will be fine.

 

What groups are you running with? I'm about 2 hours from Gingerman and 3 hours from Mid Ohio.

I am curious too I am about the same distance from those tracks as well but I do not have my car yet as my dealer got 2nd quarter car so I continue to wait patiently

 

You might want to check the track condition, I heard the surface was questionable. Cresson south of Granbury

Cresson is awesome, I've ran both tracks and the 1.7 I thought was the best one with the long straights. It has been awhile since I have been and want to go back down.

 

we need to start a list of tracks around the country by state, i had no idea cresson or eagles canyon existed. i thought it was texas world speedway and texas motor speedway or whatever it is called only around here. i bet a lot of peopel have no idea whats nearby. austin is getting a new awesome track and has alnded moto gp and F1 already.

Have fun. What if anything are you going to do to your Boss to prep it for the track? I would think Dot 4 would be a must. Check the helmet requirements, most tracks require a Snell SA2005 rating or newer. Most motorcycle helmets do not have a Snell rating.

 

The Gingerman event is a CGI Motorsports program http://www.cgimotorsports.com/
basically a track day with instructors available, an Extra $50 if you want them to ride along with you. Its a Monday, great because I am assuming it won't me crowded but its also a vacation day from Work.

Mid Ohio is a Fri/Sat/Sun program with Friday being a track day with instruction. Sat/Sun looks like amature racing needing a Racing license. Here is the link http://www.wor-games.com/ the Friday track school is the PDX (performance Driving Experience)
