Issue one, it is not dirt on there. On the left side in front of the rear wheel.

Issue two the side pipes. Left side sits nice but the whole pipe is hanging down on the right side. Need to get under it to really see if the pipe is bent wrong, mounted wrong or reinstalled wrong after the discs were pulled.

Another paint issue, this time behind the right rear wheel, looks like the paint missed it for the most part, don't know if it is enought to say something about.

First, MANY CONGRATS!

If it is perfect it is not a Ford. Besides, a couple of imperfections is good luck and you need not worry about the first ding since it is already there.

How is that for logic?

That turn down pipe clearance is adjustable. Just loosen the three 15mm bolts and adjust away.

Cool, need to get under there tomorrow and take a look. I had not given it a really good look over until today, was trying to clean off the under side from the ice and snow up there.

Very true gives it character It really does remind me of the first Mustangs as far as body fit. I was checking every panel today (have not done that in a long time) the trunk lid is lower then the quarter on the right side and lined up on the left. The hood is higher on the left side about 3/4 of the way back, don't think that it is a fit issue but the hood itself ... all character!

I do not mind the fit stuff but the spot on the inner quarter lip bothers me because I am afraid of what is under it. If not fixed it may be a worse issue later.

Just typical finds on a production car. My Bullitt had a large gap between the dash and windshield area. One day I found the build sheet, and circled in red, someone wrote,"Missing Dash Assembly screws,on rightside".
Guess nobody caught the message!

Don't know yet, the space is really small so I need to pull the tire to get a good look, the pic makes it seem like there is more room to see. It may be just some paint but it scared me when I felt it, kind of like a rust bubble feeling.

in one of the first pics, I have seen that before and in some cases it was brake fluid, or it was some oil/fluid coming from the shocks. Not sure in your case though. Nice car.

Scott, for what it's worth mine has the same issue. I just assumed I'd hit it with some paint to be sure, probably just a function of how the cars are painted coming down the line. I will say my Boss has the best paint of any Ford product I have owned (and I've owned many!) I have yet to find any imperfections or trash. Great job Ford!

The dealer called me for a check up yesterday, I told them I had a few small things and wanted to stop by. When I arrived later the service manager met me at the drive through, I was shocked he knew about it. He looked it over and apologized for missing the pipe at PDI, hey I missed it too. Even the owner passed by, not sure if by chance or not.

The Body shop was called to look at it also. Still have not pulled the tire but it almost looks like some kind of contamination got on the base before the clear (black paint from the roof?). I felt the area on several other Mustangs, it is right at a spot weld, so that is why it feels rasied, anyway looks like no big deal to fix since the outside quarter will not need to be touched. Its all good, only down side it may take a couple of days to fix the paint next week ... what to do, what to do.

Wait for rain in the forecast and leave it then? Make them keep it inside until it clears?
