It's not known as the Laguna Seca wing so that's probably why they have no clue, it's called the pedestal wing.

Part number: AR3Z-6344210-CA

I was thinking to change the rear spolier too; maybe next year.

Check CJPony parts for a better price and try and catch thier monthly 15% off. I paid less than $300 delivered. Also check the New Wing thread for lots of tips on installing the spoiler.

I ended up putting a GT500 wing with Gurney flap on mine. Quite pleased with it, and I can notice some added downforce at speed. IMHO, it looks like how the car should have come.

^ I've always kind of wondered how/why they chose the spoiler and wing for the Boss models... Not many "track-ready" cars come with just a standard little lip-spoiler like the Boss302 does, and I can't help but wonder how much effect the pedestal wing really has. They "say" they put a lot of attention into the aero. for this car though...

Do you have a picture? I'm thinking the same for my car, in Kona Blue with a white flap.

Just don't fall for ads like the one below, which makes you think they are selling an OE pedestal spoiler, like the one pictured, which by the way is a photo I took of my wife's grabber blue 2011 V6 MCA edition, that they took off the internet. Pictured is an authentic Ford Accessories pedestal spoiler that I installed myself, not the one they are selling.

Below is the original photo that I took.

I was originally going to do this but after I found out the LS/CS wing was designed for the Boss project from the beginning I changed my mind. There is a photo of another members kona blue Boss with the GT500 spoiler installed in the thread I previously mentioned. There is also a PS of a CF GT500 spoiler with the white flap I posted in the same thread. The GT500 spoiler is easier to install but has slightly less downforce than the LS wing.

Steve's car looks great with that wing. I also went with the pedestal wing like Rick since it was designed for the Boss and I like the look. One thing I recommend is getting the OEM wing, I have an after market one. It looks fine and works but mounting it was not fun.

I will get a couple of pics uploaded tomorrow.

I went with the genuine Ford Racing one, not the knock-off, by the way.

Here's Cloud9's CO BOss with the Pedestal Wing

Here's a photo of the "LS" wing on Cloud9's CO Boss, painted gloss black to match the roof.

I picked up mine @ fordpartsdirect.com which is Lombardi Ford in CT. $311 shipped to CA

SoFl05GT is right about being sure to buy the original Ford Pedestal Wing with Install Kit (the part number that's posted) because it includes a template for where to drill the four additional holes required to mount the "LS" Wing.

Good Luck

Here is the answer to this from Farr's Boss book....

"Early on, the plan was to use a larger rear spoiler on the base Boss 302. But when the team couldn't get what they needed in terms of balance, they switched to the smaller "lip" spoiler. With a larger rear spoiler on the Laguna, the team had more freedom to experimant with a larger front splitter."

Also, they state in the Boss book that they couldn't use the big Laguna front splitter as it would "violate Ford's curb angle approach requirement". Thats why the spiiltter is not installed on the Laguna at the factory.

That's basically what I heard as well along with some marketing influence.

Thanks! Very interesting... So if I were to put the CS front and maybe the "Boss" splitter on my GT, the aero balance would still be fairly good.
(I have the stock GT lip-spoiler on the trunk now.)
