Somehow, the interpretation from you and others in your little brain developed into somehow the boss being worth like apple stock.

It's nice to see that as boss owners ... Or poseurs of boss owners many decide to do a pile on .... Pretty sad that many of you felt the need to twist this into a negative thread , showing lack of any intelligent discussion.

Evidently I was asking the wrong question to the wrong group.

Good luck with you all and all of your cars.

I guess I'm a bad dad eventually leaving my only son a growing car collection down the road to enjoy memories together ( something 1m -2m will never replace )

It's too bad it's enthusiasts like yourself that have only one way dimensional thinking and cars can't be enjoyed in other fashions.

Socialism at its finest in this thread.

No wonder we are in trouble in the country.
The interpretation of comparison to apple stock was from your own quote: 1% in the bank being unappealing and giving money to someone for management being a ponzi. Saying your son would be better off with a car collection than he would with "extra zeroes."

Therefore, you took a simple question of an asset holding value and complicated it with comparison to other investments.

What did you expect?

You sir, make no sense. neither does your financial plan. just keep investing in cars. I'm sure you'll be fabulously wealthy.

By the way, socialism is a form of government and market control.

You're straight out of the looney bin comparing this conversation about a car and its financial potential to politics.

Again, I pray for your son.

So you are going to limit the mileage to 2,500 miles which tells me you think the car is going to appreciate and possibly be very collectible. But you are going to sell it to me for a 35% depreciation over 2 years. Im not seeing the logic. If you really expect the car to take that kind of hit you may as well rock the wheels off of it and enjoy it. I think 10 to 20 years form now these cars will be highly sought after. This may truly be the last years of naturally aspriated big V8s. Get ready for much smaller forced induction engines.

The Boss is not my daily driver.

I did not buy it as an investment.

I always have owned a sports or a sporty car and the Boss is now it.

Why do some people ask questions only to get mad when the answer isn't what they wanted to hear?

I do know who he is but John Sebastian (who wrote the Welcome Back Kotter theme song) of The Lovin' Spoonful wrote the song and had the first hit.

Just sayin'...now back to the topic at hand...

I think the Boss, more than most cars, will hold it's value well in the future as its' the best of the last breed of a type of cheap go fast have fun do your own repairs kind of car that is all but gone.

Short term, yes. Long term it may be what helps hold this cars value.

Besides every knucklehead collector storing a mint Boss that was trailered straight to their garage with less than 10 miles on the ODO should be thanking all the guys modding and wrecking their Boss cars (I'd say racing but a racecar with some good history can bring in big bucks - well long after the team and drivers are dead) as it only increases the value of those mint cars.

Like the old man whose name is plastered on the **** of my car said - "Get out and drive'em"

Socialism is also a form of thinking, which is related to people like yourself and the others that agree with you...cattle !

Your way is the right way and only way ......and everyone else is wrong....hence your socialism attitude that only one way works for all.

No need to pray for my son, he doesn't need your help, you should worry about yourself, that's a big enough task in of it self.

Thanks for the feedback..I get it, don't buy a boss unless I drive it everyday to the ground as a DD because it has no value.

Please tell me what stocks you own so I can stay away from them. I can only imagine guys like you talking down your own hard assets like your cars, you do the same with your investments.

Cheerio !
