Question EXHAUST

Has anyone replaced their stock mufflers on the Boss with some aftermarket exhaust? If so would you be interested in selling them. I would like to get some for my GT. you can PM me if interested. Thanks

I am wondering what folks are going to do if they go to long tube headers and etc.
Maybe others can talk about the exhaust changes and what they are going to use.
and etc.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the stock Boss mufflers were the same as the GT's.

Yeah..the stock Boss mufflers are the same as the stock GT mufflers...hence why I'm putting Roush ones on mine once I get the car.

Yup, 4" tips. I thought about mufflers but its loud enough as it is. My wife drove it the other day and I heard her coming home from a block away.

Yeah, I saw 2012YellowBoss' vid of his car with the plates out and it sounded sexy, but I figure I'm only young once, so I'm throwing the Roush axle backs on. As soon as I get the car and take a vid, I will post it up for everyone. Was supposed to be built today, so it's coming up hot!

When I did my experiment with the plates I was surprised at the difference outside the car hearing it go by. Discs out sound good from inside (except the popping when downshifting, I just don't like the truck sound) but it is pretty loud from outside. Anyway I agree with having a different sound out the back to match the sides, that would be nice but I don't plan any changes myself.

The Jake Brake sound, I know you get that on any car/truck when down shifting but with no discs I just think it is a bit too much. The discs really help tone that back. Some like that popping sound but not me.
