I'm with Big Vito on this... Here is hoping to huge gains with the tune and parts

 

Just throwing this out there, not accusing anyone, but could it be that the baseline numbers are intentionally low so that when they "work their magic" the gains look that much more substantial? I mean how better to get more customers in the door than to advertise that they picked up 40 more hp (for example) over stock than any other tuner has.


Just my conspiratorial mind at work.

That's a base 5.0 HP. Should be around 390ish or maybe stiguy got a dog.

 

That does sound really low. I would expect closer to the 385-395 area. Maybe RBB is right and they want it to look like their gains are that amazing. I would have them do it again and try to be there to watch the screen as the results come up. Can they modify results live like that?

 

Wow, that's really interesting. Sounds like most of the time you'd have to do a thousand pulls to get anything statistically significant.

 

At least 30 hp to get it back to stock.
