Evolution Performance Tunes with stock baseline dyno Friday 4/1!!
We believe it's just a slight piston slap...I will keep an eye on it and if it gets worse, time to go to the dealer
Anyway we are changing the oil and installing the JLT air/oil separators before the base dyno. Hopefully I will have those results shortly!!
Then it's time for the exhaust, intake, and tune!!!

That Boss should put down some great numbers!
Speaking of the JLT air/oil seperators....here's my version,much larger,with 2
stage baffle system
I know Jon Lund is a good tuner but if things go south (you're already talking about piston slap) Ford is going to be all over your car to deny your warranty because they watch these forums. Even more so because this is a hot new car and they want to see what might fail when used by the general public. This isn't some Focus you're rolling in with. You already posted your dealer and heck even the YouTube they did is tied to your car. Just be careful as I speak from experience.

Unless detonation burns a piston, Ford can't deny warranty especially for something like piston slap. That's a build issue not an abuse issue. With a tune and exhaust the sure can void warranty on driveability and that's about it. Besides i am sure they wouldn't want the bad press of one of their first production "Halo" car having piston slap from the factory and not being covered...

I wS referencing the delay in infoSent from my Droid via iPhone using TMS Forum
Considering the car has forged pistons, a little piston slap might be normal until the car gets up to operating temperature.

Sheeeeeeeeeeit, if I were gonna ditch the side pipes, I'd at least throw a set of longtubes on there for the trouble
