Evolution of #0004 (Pics)

Thought I'd share a few pics of my BOSS. I just ordered some Steeda Sport springs to get rid of the 4x4 look and a drop in K&N filter. I'm trying my damndest to keep it stock. :snicker:

Nice!

Is the "Evolution" hanging the dog tags from the mirror? I think that's all I see that's evolved.

You know what would be nice is what this forum lacks, a detailed installation w/pics. Assuming you plan to do it yourself. It would help the community save a little money by doing it themselves. A spring install is not difficult at all, baring the alignment.

LOL. The evolution will come as I install the parts. They'll be here Monday, hopefully early enough to install them.

Dude--I appreciate your posting photos of a red and black boss. I'm very anxious waiting for mine. Do you have access to a better camera so I can enjoy in all its glory?

I'm working on getting a better camera. The wife (my other BOSS) wants one too since we're moving to Italy.

No prob, just glory in the greatness that is TacoBill, he's on a bunch of the other forums as well. Great pics and install instructions -- wish the manufacturers would include such great stuff!

I agree about that camera! Couple of the pics look great, but ya gotta get something that shows it off to its full potential.

Taking the Boss to Italy I assume? That'd be sweet to see it along some red Italian exotics.

I thought the standard Boss springs were already a bit lower, how much change will the Steeda Sports provide?

I believe they are only 11mm lower.

The BOSS is definately going to Italy with me. I'm hoping the Trackey comes out before I have to put her on a boat.

Compared to a GT the Boss is 11mm lower in front and 1 mm lower in back. The Steeda's lower a GT over an 1" both front and rear on a GT. So you can figure it out from there.

You obviously overestimate my abilities

I'm wondering what the spring rate comparisons are. Are they both progressives?
