Be careful. There's a member on here and on S197 that has run into huge problems with his kit. Wrong parts, missing parts, etc.

My shop works closely with Eibach all the time and are local to the shop. Prob 1hr away in socal. So any issues wouldn't really matter

Good to hear! Plus, $2,100 is a great price for that kit. Any idea what spring rates you'll go with?

I'm torn between this kit or going with a kit from JRZ.

^JRZ is supposed to be very good. I thought its a lot more, do u know pricing?

Not sure if you his have ears of MUELLERIZED / mueller's shop but supposed to be very good. Will have him set up the suspension and will discuss sprig rates with him. This is my only car so need it to be "streetable".

I've got an email into JRZ asking if they've got anything in the works for the 2011+ GT's. I know Paul Brown ran JRZ kits on his Boss 302S.

As for pricing, everything I've heard is $5k+. If you wanna keep the car "streetable" I'd go with the R2 kit from Eibach. I'm looking at doing a triple or quad adjustable kit from JRZ and that'll run me almost $10k plus won't be as "streetable" as some would like. More track/road race based when it comes to spring rates and overall stiffness of the suspension.

Hmmm, interesting. Didn't realize those kits were available through him. $4,100 isn't bad for the double adjustable kit. I'm still leaning towards a triple or quad adjustable set up though. So many decisions

I just saw that and I may go with the single adjustable. I think it will be simpler and my brain won't go crazy obsessing over so many options to change, just dampening. And I don't even know how to set up a suspension so this I can stiffen it for track and soften it for the city. I don't know about adjusting rebound

I didn't realize it either until a few days ago. I agree these decisions are rough.

I'm leaning towards the single adj. as well. I'm no suspension guru so I need to follow the KISS method. However, the rebound is just as important if you are going to be a serious weekend racer. I just want to be able to do both, street and track driving, and maximize the experience of both.

If you want single adjustable get rebound adjustable NOT compression.

when they are single adjustable is it rebound or compression thats adjustable? I know they are all the same, I thought it was compression, but maybe its rebound?

as of now debating between those Eibach R2, or JRZ RS1 (1 way adjustable) and Ohlins R/T (1 way adjustable).

I cant say for sure but I have no doubt the JRZ and Ohlins are a better shock and even if the Eibachs are 3 way adjustable they wont be as good, but the other 2 cost more. Not sure what being better between the Ohlins and JRZ

I am with you about the adjustability. I thought it was compression on 1 way. However, I could be wrong so hopefully someone can clear that up. I still think my vote would be to go with the JRZ's. Paul Brown abused the crap out of those and the price isn't too crazy.

That is the problem they are not all the same. Roush and KW have rebound adjustable. Some adjust both at the same time and some adjust compression. Adjusting just compression is pretty worthless. Springs control compression forces for the most part. Rebound damping control springs pushing the car back up.

Also stay away from progressive springs or two stage springs. They promise but don't deliver.

I know they're not all the same. Just trying to show them some general information. I agree to stay away from progressive springs. Also, on single adjustable, rebound is the way to go.
