Gotta agree with this. My cousin made a "mistake" and was drunk driving in upstate NY. His "mistake" killed a family of 5. His "mistake" put him in prison for 20 years... His "mistake" turned him into an alcoholic with guilt after he was released and he committed suicide a few years ago.
