I'm really liking the flat black!! I got word back from the bank today that my loan was approved, but because I just bought a house a larger downpayment was required than we had previously discussed...... I hope this works out and then I will be driving this by the end of tomorrow night.....

I think it looks better in the first pic without anything on the hood at all now that the top is body colored.

I asked my son to take a pic of me with the car and he said that since he would get the car when I got too old to drive it he wanted a pic with HIM and the car

When I had the rear done (deck lid and spoiler) it looked fine with the side stripes the way they were but the hood is totally different.

I was going back and forth about doing this but you never know until you try. I think the Boss would look fantastic with the hood and side stripes all in flat but I do not plan on replacing the side stripes. I thought it would look OK with flat on top and the sides original and that is why I tried this. I think I may have to go back to the original stripe but will miss the way it looks from the inside and the less glare you get.

Just a shot without the hood stripe. I was amazed at how easy the factory stripe peeled off, took me all of two minutes and that was my biggest fear to start with.

here is looking at the car straight on, looks good this way

and here from the side

The stripe was not easy to do, it is very big. I started by lining up the rear and then working forward. In the end it still finished off center at the front, it really is an art form and this was a little big for someone without experience.
Scott, did you ever hear of a product called rapid tac. It's for applying vinyl decals and removing them. I have a friend that does decals for a living and this is what they use. When you use this product you can move the vinyl decal around after you lay it down and position it to where you want it to be. When it dries your done. It will stick and never move unless you peel it off. Just a thought for when you tackel the C stripes.

I agree with those that prefer the look of the hood without the decal. Thanks for sharing your experience and pictures.

I will also agree with Yellow Boss on sales.promotorstripes@gmail.com. I also used them and found the same quality of help. They will work with you until you like the finish product. I had a Hood decal done and I'm just waiting to receive it. Most important is the price and quality of there work. I give it a 10!
I have not posted pics yet because I need to redo the door bottom stripes plus waiting on a nice sunny day. Here is the work in progress, should get some better pics up later in the week. It does look good in the flat (MHO).

Gary, you would not believe the difference it makes on the track, I love it more from looking out the windshield then from outside.

Never got around to posting pics of the side stripes so here goes. I really love the look of them. These were made by Promotorstripes like the helmet decals.

I just don't like to see dogs chained up. Just a personal pet peeve.
