Not that it is outside much but the sun in FL is only 12 feet above the surface in the summer so this will help.
It pretty hot and sunny out here on the other coast and a good reason to leave mine white. We let you guys keep the humitity though. Your comment earlier about the glass roof does ring true although I think the whole package looks teffific. Yours is going to look great and as long as you're happy that's what matters. Besides a red roof wouldn't look good on the yellow blaze.

I think the flat is fine and does no clash with the side stripes, hell I can even leave the hood the way it is but I will swap out the sticker next week in a matte finish.

It looks great Scott. How close is the black on the louvers to the deck lid and spoiler? It looks pretty close.

Yea it looks close, I guess if I stare at it and study it for a while I might find a little difference. Black is black so looks like he got a close match to the matte. I am not sure what to do with the hood now, I would rather it be matte because I like that better but it does not look out of place. Need to think it out for a few days.

No need to rush and make a decision. You can have the decal removed and paint the hood anytime. Keep it as is for a while and enjoy it!

Love your paint and louvers!!! Only thing I would do different is keep the trunk lid top yellow as another reason to paint the roof yellow... to break it up

Yellow Blaze is beginning to grow on me, I wonder why?

Congrats Scott. That was one heck of a gutsy move!

Looks good Scott! Now all it needs is the wide matt black hood stripe.

How about painting the front spoiler (Splitter, not sure what it's called??) like the PB302.

Saw the pictures of your yellow blaze after paint. Really turned out clean. I'm expecting my yellow blaze to be delivered on 5/13/11. I showed my wife the pictures of your car and expressed my feelings to her on how I liked it. Her response to me was are you #*%king nuts.......Don"t get know ideas. Will be married for 30 years this year. Well, I have just one for start. How much did it cost to spray the roof pannel. Also, did they remove the glass front and rear to do the job. Plan B >>>where did you purchase the rear louvers. I'm willing to do the time after I do the crime.

My reasoning for the deck lid really was only for the retro look, like the louvers..

As far as the patriot Boss, I am not sure it will even come close to what the artist rendition looks like, spoiler, louver, hood paint, front facade etc. In any case I don't like the facade painted that much and do not think the hood painted outside the hump look good. If it did I would have gone that route.

The material has a textured surface and won't paint very well. Plus Low gloss Black Polyethylene is easy to get bugs off of and doesn't chip!

Big fan! I really like it! I think doing the hood in the same black as the rear would look really nice! Either way you can't lose!

Scott, Outstanding! I would do the hood similar to the Patriot in that I would want to cover more of the hood in flat black like they did for that retro look.
