I would have given them a listen. You were at the dealer, it wouldn't cost you anything, and who knows, maybe they did have someone looking to buy a Boss like yours.

I would have taken full advantage! Test drive, price ranges, make em think your pretty interested and then just decline. No need to kust shut em down like how you did. Didnt your mother ever teach you manners??

I actually made it look like I was second guessing next and got shot down on test ride..... But seriously I have an f1c procharger in a non running car 2-3k in parts that gt500 would have more on its hands than it could handle

But u wanted a n/a car that does not need a cage. For drag racing ....... And I find myself getting more and more into road racing ad autox... My 94 will stay my supercharged car

Good answer, unless you live near the Bonneville salt flats.

So funny that you are coming around to the track side of the Boss. It was inevitable behinds it's wheel. Soon you'll be talking coil overs.

I had a 2012 GT 500 and traded it for my 2013 Boss. Love my Boss. More fun to drive than the Shelby, IMO

though the 2013 GT500 is certainly better/more capable than my '09 version, the Boss is hands down way more fun then my '09 is to drive.

Curious if I'd say that if I drove a 2013. I don't want to go there. $$$

Hey, I agree. As I sit here I have a second window up looking a MMR short blocks, piston/rods and a set of heads....

But I wont lie it would be nice to have a GT500 with a pulley, tune, full exhaust and go low 10s and still have a warranty.

Heh... you can bet if my clutch would have been covered under a warranty I'd have taken advantage of that rather than toss out 1700 bucks (parts ownly) for a clutch, flywheel and throwout assembly.

At some point you gotta say screw the bullcrap and just bite the bullet if your gonna mod the car before the warranty expires, but I can't argue with somebody if they dont want to void the warranty before then and take advantage of it.
