Curb weight on the Laguna Seca
Has anyone seen the estimated curb weight on the LS? I saw the regular Boss at 3630 lbs (estimated). The rear seat delete is about 20 lbs less the weight of the cross bracing. I read they removed "everything that wasn't needed" but only saw something about 12 lbs of insulation. Assuming the 3630 curb weight was with standard seats (power driver at least), the Recaro option could shave as much as 100 lbs between both seats.
I am hoping the LS is sub 3500 but that may be wishful thinking. A Braille lightweight battery could shave another 20 lbs and is an easy mod.

I do not think the seats will save much if any weight. The cross brace may weigh more than the back seats. Although it would be cool if ford suddenly announced a big weight reduction, I think the LS will be slightly heavier than the Gt or regular Boss. For a 3600lbs car, anything less than several hundred pounds wont be noticeable anyway. The LS at 35XX vs 36XX will make for no discernible difference on track.

Are you sure the base Boss seats are power? I was under the impression they were manual as well since the Boss is based on the base GT, not the Premium GT. I doubt the Recaros will be much lighter than the base seats, I assume the Recaros recline, and aren't fixed back one piece race buckets.

fwiw - This is the passenger seat - it definitely has a manual fore-aft rake adjustment.
