Why did this CO boss pic as red?
I swear it was orange

 

CO = Faded Red

 

It really wanted to be red.

 

So hard to tell in photos sometimes

 

almost every C/O I see in pics looks like Race Red.....

 

Mine looks orange. The problem is that RR has some orange in it, so it's not really red.

I will say, when I saw the original unveiling of the BOSS 302, I wanted the Comp Orange. Then, I bought the only BOSS 302 I'd seen, which was Race Red. I'm happy with my decision. There are times I look at my car in the direct sunlight and wonder if the car isn't orange, but I am definitely a fan of the red. It's bright. But vibrant. I personally feel the CO is kinda faded and less than vibrant.

Much deeper Orange in this photo. I found in person that the CO BK looks deeper in the sunlight and the CO WH looks a bit pale. As one owner called it, the CO WH is like a dreamsicle.... One badass dreamsicle!

 

That would make the Yellow Blaze/White stripes a Creamsicle.

 

They all wish they could be Race Red

 

LOL, you just keep telling yourself that!

 

If you try to take some HDR shots and fail at it, it comes out as Competition Pink.

 

It's called having the best of both worlds.

That is what you get when you buy the Comp. Orange.

 

I've been a big fan of orange cars for most of my 48+ years on the planet. Comp Orange is perfect for me with blend of red/orange. Reminds me a little bit of the Coral used on the late 70 F-Series Trucks. I have my Boss parked beside my Kubota; lot more red in the Boss.

Agree. It looks a lot like calypso coral, which I think is very nostalgic since that was a popular color on 69 and 70 B2's.

 

Pretty well? That shot is phenomenal.

 

My photos of CO looks like race red with my camera and even worse when taken with my iphone as seen here..anybody recomend a good digital camera for CO
