I think this finishes the interior off rather nicely.
The best part is itis 3m Carbon tape!

Is that yours? What did they charge you? I'm still hopeful for real CF pieces from APR Performance.

Is that your car? If so where did you get the overlay? Do you know if they make other parts in carbon overlay? Can it be had in flat or dry carbon? It looks great!

Am I the only one that think the hydrocarbon finish looks terrible? Personally, I think it's more "rice" than getting a CF dash kit or wrapping it in dry CF.

Adam ,Yes that is my car.All it is ,is 3m carbon tape .The product is relatively thick with very good stick. All I did was took out the console pieces and than wrapped them in the carbon film.We did use a heat gun .I actually did not do it myself.
What I like about it .The look with out the price of carbon!
Check out the Gtr pic

I have some of the 3M CF wrap and I'll wait until the real thing is available.

If there is a group of us willing to pony up for the real thing I can contact APR/Carbign Craft and give them a nudge on making the pieces.

The way I see it is .You use Carbon fiber for light weight and strength .Do we really need lightweight and strength on interior parts Maybe I’m just cheap!

Maybe you are. The interior's of our cars are a bit plain looking and the real deal would set it off nicely. If it's good enough for Lambo's, Ferrari's, and Porsche's...

I disagree. I think it looks great.

But that's the nice part about our cars. We can make them how we want. I do like Captn Distractions, but i dont like how the wrap in this one looks blu-ish.

My gripe with it is that it lacks the depth that real carbon fiber does. At least the wrap has some depth, and looks more realistic in comparison. Seeing the hydrocarbon and real side by side was when I really noticed how cheap it looks.

this exactly. they had a gt500 in when my car was on the dyno with lots of hydrocarbon on it and the stuff looks pretty bad (at leas whatever brand that guy used did) . it reminded me of some cheap plastic smartphone case out of japan.
