If the original poster has a problem it's with the dealer not Ford.

Ford has had problems launching cars in the past '03-'04 Mach 's, the GT500 and the 5.0 last year and it's happening now, it is what it is.

Ford has "assigned" a customer service rep to this site and that help is fantastic!

Everthing from getting folks their VIN's to sorting out rumors, etc.

New cars during the launch have problems, new procedures on the line, parts shortages, etc and everyone what's their car now.........

We live in a time when everyone wants it now...........and doesn't want to wait...............

Talk to the dealer like an adult, if the dealer gives you the run around leave, there are 750 LS's being built this year! and 750 next year!

It's not like the Cobra R's; in 1993 only 107 were built, 1995 you needed a competition license or you couldn’t get one only 250 built, and in 2000 only 300 built.

Use the tools we have today at our finger tips, the web and find one at another dealer..............or wait until next year.

I’m going to take some liberties and paraphrase the X-Files, "The cars are out there!"

I've "lost" cars in the past and feel your pain, there's always another one around the corner.

Your issue is really, really simple. Your dealer is misleading you. No LS's have been canceled although some have been delayed. Any dealer who says "all" of his LS's have been canceled is prob full of crap. There are 3500+ dealers, 700 LS. Only a small handful of dealers getting more than one or two.

Not if they're using the parts to build standard Boss 302s, like the OP's dealer told him.
