Brand of Gas?

Since I took delivery of the Boss back in July I have only put Chevron Premium in the Boss. Last week, I put Mobil Premium and it seems like the gas has lasted me long then with Chevron. I know that it could be the way i have been driving but i dont think its changed in the last week.

Which gas do you use? How long does it last? (DD)

Esso (Exxon from what I hear), I get between 150-200 miles between fill-ups depending on driving habits. The 1/4 tank I have right now will last until Spring though

I always seem to get my best millage out of Shell. Used to use BP but Shell has been the best for me and in my area plus it is on the top tier list.

During the summer there is a special blend that gives you crappy mileage in the name of less pollution.(but mainly just raises the cost) Maybe they switched over to the winter blend.

When I lived in Texas, I used Premium from Texaco. Now that I live in Iowa, I use BP. Both have proved to add extra milage over using Exxon or even Shell.

I use what ever as long as it's 93 octane. I really don't notice a diff in mileage.

Chevron and Texaco have Techron cleaner but you can't find it in Kentucky/Ohio any longer. I run 93 Shell.

Petro Canada Ultra 94 seems to last that but longer but not enough to offset price.

Shell 93 octane. I dont think I have used anything else. My driving habits vary so much I dont know if I would be able to tell a mpg difference between brands. But I did average 8.0 mpg at my last track day with Trackey.
One of the girls at work thought I said 8.0 mph and was not impressed.

I use shell because I get a .10¢ discount per gallon.

Chevron was the best at cleaning and keeping sludge out of the motor, not to mention its what BMW recommends

Valero, they are the only one with reasonably priced 93 in Abilene. IF not them, Stripes because they have 92, everyone else has just 91.

Chevron is better due to the additive. From what I've been told, techron really does help clean carbon and it also helps to keep its octane rating. You would be surprised how many 93 octane gas stations are not really 93. 90 91 seems to be the usual.
