Boss Track Attack was great!

Plenty of full reviews have been posted so I won't go into tons of detail but the Boss Track Attack was great. I took my 18 year old son with me and paid so he could drive as well and we added a 2nd day. I highly recommend springing for the 2nd day and the extra $$ to upgrade to the FR500S. The Boss Track Attack is really more of an "experience" and the 2nd day included a lot more instructiona ns the chance to really improve your track skills. Plus the experience of driving a fully track prepared car was incredible.

The best part of the 2 days were the instructors. Really great guys who were very knowledgeable as well as very good drivers and teachers. It threatened rain all day on the first day and by the time we wrapped up the day with the hot laps it was pouring down rain. The experience of riding with the instructors around the track with it so wet was incredible. The cars would lose traction and in a split second they would have it corrected and just kept flying around the track.

Don't stay all the way out at the airport hotel. The Holiday Inn Express in Tooele was fine and being closer to the track helped alot. The mornings start early and by the end of the first day you'll be a bit tired and won't want to make the drive back to Salt Lake City.

I would highly recommend to all that stil haven't done Track Attack yet....to get scheduled. I think the program ends this year...which would mean late October / early November time frame. You won't regret taking the time off and traveling to SLC. MMP is a first rate facility that also has top rate instructors.....and the icing on the cake is Mr. Miller's Shelby museum.

Tons of fun and learning to be had at Track Attack. Just hope all that want to attend..get the opportunity. I, for one, think it was an amazing time!

If you are going to spend some extra time there I highly recommend a side trip to the Bonneville Salt Flats. That was the highlight of my trip there last year.

My son and I and my wife did Track Attack on 4/5. My 34-year-old son and I drove and my wife observed and rode along on hot laps with an instructor. We did not do the second day and were not disappointed at all. I would, however, like to go back sometime and do a full-blown class.

My wife was concerned that she would be bored but really enjoyed the experience. She sat in the classroom portion and learned a great deal, rode with us in the van around the track learning the lines, etc., watched everything we did, and took hot laps with an instructor as a passenger. While watching she usually had someone from the track around to talk to and all of them made her feel very comfortable. She loved hanging out in the tower on the front straight and watching/talking while we drove. I was concerned that she wouldn't be able to take the hot laps but after learning and watching she enjoyed it tremendously.

We all had a great time - it was a fantastic family experience that I HIGHLY recommend to anyone.

I still have to go... all one-day's are full. Two-day's are available at a co$t on top of airfare & hotel. I think I'll end up doing a two-day session.

Did the same thing. Took the rental out on the Salt Flats...what a mess. Luckily, there was a car wash in Tooele that cleaned it up good as new. The salt was like baked on sakrete. We were lucky, they were preparing to run the Flats when we were out there. Definitely some nice automotive history there.

+1 me to. You definitely have to make this side trip to the flats. Cost me $7.00 in quarters to get that salt off the rental car. What a blast. It was deserted when I went. Stop in the Salt Flats Café, they have a lot of history on the walls. (Food was so so)
I would suggest driving up the middle canyon road out of Tooele also. My rental barely made it to the top. Great views and lots of switch back corners. (paved & gravel) Take the scenic trail to the top. There is a lookout spot up there. Great Time.

Ah yes #83 White Boss, I had that one when I attended last year. Did it still have the dent on the lower driver side door? (no I didn't do it) but the instructor pointed it out and we couldn't figure out how it happened.
