Boss "Stuff"

Let's see your Boss toys, blankets, calendars, etc. I have a cool calendar with a Boss on the front, and a Maisto 1:24 toy my dad bought me. It is red, and a 2012, but they see the word Boss and that is it, they buy it. I also got a few Ford shirts since I have gotten the Boss. I will post pics of the toy and calendar when I get home...taken the real Boss to San Diego today, probably Coronado Island and Del Mar and maybe La Jolla. Wave if you see me.

I live in La Jolla. Great place to live if you like seeing ridiculously nice cars everyday! Where in La Jolla are you going to be?

We drove down to Del Mar and then to La Jolla. Walk around down town La Jolla to a few of the shops and then went to Coronado for dinner. Yeah, Ferrari after Ferrari and mix in a Lambo and a few Porsches. High rent district for sure. I love Bullitts by the way. I am working over at UCSD too, cannot get enough of La Jolla.

Yeah, I live right next to the Ferrari & Maserati dealerships in downtown La Jolla. It's almost surreal walking by those places, especially because I grew up in a small town in Pennsylvania. Have you ever checked out Symbolic Motors in La Jolla? They always have the nicest exotics. When I first moved here they had 3 Bugatti Veyrons in the showroom. They have an old Boss 302 there now actually.

Looks like this car was on Ebay in 2011 where it sold for $35,000 with a little less mileage on it. There was also some missing paint on the door at that time. Looks like someone cleaned it up. Also, the motor is not original but is reportedly a factory warranty replacement BOSS engine.

I like it out there - used to travel to San Diego a lot for business and drove up to La Jolla several times. Actually my last trip to San Diego last January I got a grabber blue Mustang 5.0 as my rental (was a free upgrade shockingly...). Got to drive it for 2 weeks and my wife got to experience it as well on a long weekend. Drove up to Temecula in the 'Stang as well... loved it. Wife said "you should get one of these" and my Audi S4 was sold within 3 weeks

Back on subject, some serious money in that area!!

Yeah, I rented a 2012 5.0 whenever I moved out here just to test it out for a day. Just got in and drove around through the mountains with the wife all day. Fun stuff. Back East you can't even rent a V6 Mustang anywhere!

Fun story about 70 BOSS 302`s looking at this car it reminded me. In 1970 I was 8 years old. I had two neighbors who were I am guessing about 19 to 20 years old at the time. They each bought 70 BOSS 302`s one was orange just like this car, the other was green.
The guy who owned the green one was pretty conservative. He saved the original tires and the mufflers. The car had a complete restore with all the original parts around 2000 and was sold for $78k last year by the original owner.
The guy who owned the orange one was a bit wilder he beat the s**t out of that car and I believe around 1976 after it sat under a tarp in his driveway with both sides half torn off someone bought it for $800 and hauled it off on a trailer.
But what I remember I loved watching them drag racing down the road in front of my house. Or see who could lay the longest set of posi`s.

That is probably one of the reasons I became a Mustang guy.

My first car in 1978 was a 65 (totaled it when I was 21)

and over the years I have owned

67 (sold it)

68 fast back (totaled it)

two 69 MACH`s (scattered the engine in one sold it, sold the other one)

two 73 MACH`s (scattered the engine in one sold it, still have the other one)

76 V8 MACH (scattered the engine sold it)

95 GT Convertible (still own it)

two 2005`s (sold one, own one)

and my 2012 BOSS.
So I guess those two cars had a good impact.

So I guess the morel of the story is if you want to impact a young kids life. Do burnouts for them every chance you get.

Yes, the fleece blanket looks great. My wife made me one out of the regular cotton fabric last year.

And this year, she made me a couple tree ornaments. She ended up with a few wrinkles on the mustang one, but overall they're pretty cool. She was even able to find the Boss 302 font online.

That sure is a nice set of ***** hanging there....On your Christmas tree
Wish my wife would do things like that to my *****.

Now that all the jokes are done...Youre wife did a nice job. Tell her to get smaller numbers and she could add 2012 or 2013 for the car or the year for memory 12/31/13.
