Arrow Boss Roof Paint Codes

Boss roof colors: does anyone know what the correct colors and paint codes are for the white, black, and red roofs? My guess it the white roof on the KB is high performance white, HP, but I need to know for sure for when I get my LS spoiler painted.

Someone posted the black code a while back here, as for the white just go down to the local poilce station and ask them for the code they use.

Edit: I meant dealer not police

Paint Codes From the 2011 Ordering Guide

Don't know if the Ordering Codes and Color Names are the same as the "Paint Codes", but here's what's in the Ordering Guide:

Color Name Ordering Code
Race Red PQ
Black UA
Performance White HP

Perhaps the color name is sufficient to get the correct number paint code to make sure your colors match

Good Luck

Does it specifically state those are the roof colors? That's what I'm looking for if it does. On page 17 of the order guide it states:

Tape Strip Legend for 500A and 501A
NOTE: Enter Order Code:
E - - 85E (Race Red)
3 - - 853 (Offset White)
4 - - 854 (Gloss Black)

UA is the Mustang (LS) black and I am mostly sure the color of roof on black stripe cars. I would think CC list is correct. Were you able to check with the body shop at your dealer rick? If they don't have an answer I can ask the guys at mine.

That would seem obvious but I didn't buy the spoiler from the dealer where I purchased the car nor am I going to have them install it so I was hoping to source the info elsewhere. I'm still not confident that HP is the white used on the roof. I might reach out to another dealer closer to my home and see if they can get me the correct code if nobody here can find it for me.

That may be a good idea but don't worry about your body shop, you dropped a chunk of change there for the car so they should have the time to look stuff up for you, JMHO

The answer would imply the right answer to the question. And it was eight

Go to grabberpony and look also what made you decide to paint it white?

I have no proof to offer, but it seems to me that it wouldn't make sense to have two different paint colors for both black and white on the assembly line. Since HP is already used on Mustangs, and on the Boss as well, it would only complicate the assembly line.

In addition, Ford has been using that HP-code paint on Mustangs for years.

If the roof were a sticker, I would be more worried about getting a paint match. Since it's painted, you can be pretty sure it's HP. Also, any body shop worth it's salt can match colors. My dad has been an auto body painter for 30+ years now, and he deals with matching unknown paint codes on a daily basis. If the body shop gives you weird looks about matching paint color, I'd run the other way to another shop.

I think you're right but I'd like to get positive confirmation on that because of what the order guideline states below:

"Tape Strip Legend for 500A and 501A
NOTE: Enter Order Code:
E - - 85E (Race Red)
3 - - 853 (Offset White)
4 - - 854 (Gloss Black) "

I have confirmed that the red, black and white roofs are the standard Mustang colors so HP is the correct white for the white striped cars.
