Curious as to what people are paying for a Boss 302. Seems MSRP is about the right price, but anyone have any luck getting them under yet?

My local dealer, who states they're getting 2 (and the only two in Oregon lol) fed me a line that their first one is already bid up $40k. The sales guy earlier told me $20 and they rejected it, then the manager said $40k . I pretty much went there to sit in some Recaros and see if I like them, as I figure I'd have to order one sight unseen.

But just curious as to what you all have been paying, and if you know of dealers willing to be realistic.

Thanks again for the link! I've been going back reading through all the posts.

Just trying to figure out my plan of attack based on my timeline. I'd like to reward myself with a Boss next February for my bday, but not sure if I should wait till then and just work on finding one on a lot, or find a place to order one.

What did you all have to put down as a deposit initially, and what provisions are in place to back out should a financial situation change. I don't expect mine to, but then again, you never do .
