It had already done that. This is the second time.....same thing happened to my Shelby. It arrived at the dealer with paint spots missing after 45 days in the lot at Flat Rock.

I won't take the car if the same thing happens.

Does anybody know (or have a guess) how long it takes a freight train to reach the east coast / mid Atlantic area? Ultimate destination is northern Virginia. Woohoo!

Just found out from Deysha that my car has been shipped. She didn't have a ETA but I'm only about 3.5 hrs from there so I should have it sometime next week (I hope).

We ship railcars weekly from the SW Michigan to the West coast and it normally takes 2 1/2 to 3 weeks. East Coast is quite a bit less with a minimum 10-12 days. Sounds like Sparky doesn't it

Now granted this is to the physical coast shipyards so anything in between will be less travel time.

10-12 days?!? Two donkeys with hemorrhoids could get my car here faster than that!

I agree with atrain, but given the current weather, they can store it a while. I too have to clean out the garage.

Ron,
I went to Springfield Local, just south of Poland. My whole family is from Struthers and Boardman as well. Brother is a Y-town cop...
Amazing....

It will be interesting to see if these were cars that were driven on the track. I ordered a first year Expedition and it had 370 miles on it when it arrived. Yours mine and 1189 say the same thing. If there really was a problem with these cars it is nice to know they found and fixed it before it left.

I also wonder what it means having no ramp number on it. At least the doors are open, I am happy about that but would love to see a railcar number.

Well movement anyway. My sister in law is tracking it for me and she said moved yesterday to awaiting shipment at autoport limited. It then got a TP# and she doesn't know what that is. Either do I.
