Ok I work nights so it's bed for me. Here's the list as it stands. I marked the interesting ones with red BUT I would hold pat until we see somewhere other than Flat Rock as a location. And I'm posting these without saying who is who (for your privacy) so don't volunteer saying which one is yours if that's a concern ...

Ron, believe that you mean Matt (OAC Sparky). He needs you to PM him your VIN, and he should track it.

From google maps, it looks like New Boston, MI, is a railhead location. Wonder why mine is the only one there? At this point, I'm willing to entertain pure speculation as well as hard information...

atrain: its really tough to tell. When I looked at Sparky's list, my assumption was that your car actually was able to escape, and be free.
I'm not sure though. How far is New Boston from the plant?

But as Sparky has said numerous times, until you see the railcar number, it doesn't really mean anything. I do expect to see numbers start popping up in the next couple of days though.

New Boston appears to be about 8 miles northwest of Flat Rock. The google map overhead shot shows railheads in Flat Rock and in New Boston. Are there any train nerds on standby who know why Ford might use two different railheads? I feel as though my car was sent to the principal's office for bad behavior.

atrain, no my car was (Returned to Plant). That's odd, I have no idea why its there; unless you have a rail car number, then I would say that its enroute to you.

This is starting to remind me of the Progressive Insurance commercial where the guys from the other insurance company keep calling their customer the wrong name.
