BOSS 302LS at Tasca

Tasca currently has two 302's. An LS and a non LS. Looks like they are asking almost 90K for the LS. Have people not been getting LS's for sticker?

tasca also has a shelby mod shop attached to the franchise... they are heavily involved in the mustang lifestyle and offer shelby-ized pricing.

yah, i'm hating... but for what they do and charge, not to mention the accompanying hype, you'd think they were the only source for hipo mustangs in the northeast.

Check out this dealer modded coupe, complete with Shelby wheels, also overpriced.

It will be interesting to see if they still have a leftover '11 on the lot when I'm ready to buy in a month or 2 to see if they price their leftovers at unrealistic levels too.

At least I'll be able to see an LS in person cause you know it will be still be sitting there.

I also hope they choke on these. I got my LS for almost half these insane prices. There are people that will pay these prices.

I can almost guarantee that the car you posted with their mods will be around all of 2011 and maybe even into 2012. They did the same thing to a 2008 and it was there into late 2009.

The name Tasca holds a lot of hype but they are not worth the price tag. Not for what they are doing right now anyway.

I almost want to stop buy and ask his much they want to sell it for so I can laugh and walk away.

Back in the 'the day' (classic muscle car era of the 60's to early 70's) Tasca was a noted high performance dealer. Unfortunately the adjective 'high' now seems to apply to their sticker pricing as well as their frame of mind with regard to the their 'high performance' dealer stock.

Luckily the leftover '11 I am interested, with the same options, is also available at another dealer closer to me, just a different color. If they aren't willing to budge to what I think is a reasonable price, I'll gladly walk out and wish them luck getting whatever it is they are asking. I wonder if they will share what their monthly cost is to have it sit on their lot for another 2, 3, 4+ months if they are inflexible on cutting a deal.

I'm not trying to be smart, but for those that might be lurking, and not know some of the background, we Mustang people have a certain debt to Bob Tasca Sr.

He was our version of Ace Wilson.

Oh no doubt the Mustang community owes a lot to Bob Tasca Sr. It's just too bad that his children are using his name in the way they are.

And he's doing a dang fine job if it too!

Did you see his brief interview from last year's final race when he beat Hagan (opening the way for J.Force to win the championship)? Man what a great Ford promo!! "Drive one baby, I do!"

Cool story. That was a cool Mustang, though I would have taken it with my heavily modded '69 GTO . I won a Bob Tasca Sr. T-Shirt at the Tasca Ford sponsored Ford weekend last year. I really had no idea of the history of Tasca Ford when I got it.
