Jason, that just looks great!
Now lets see it in full race trim, (i.e.- put the numbers on it to.)

Too Cool Man!

Jason, was the body shop able to get the finish on the hood to match the rest of the car? In other words were they able to cover up the imperfections in the CF and make it smooth?

I was going to do that, but it's 100 plus in NY right now. I'm afraid they will leave a sticky mess on the car. It's supposed to cool down on Sunday and I'll get on it

Yes they did a great job. They put a lot of work into and I can tell from how the hood came to now. It is not 100% yet. He said the carbon will soak some of the paint in. In two weeks he is taking it back for a light wet sand, re-paint and a clear coat. It looks great now and I don't see anything different. But we will see in two weeks. This thing gets crazy attention. And the pics do not do her justice. I took her to work last night and parked her near times square. B4 work people were just coming up and taking pics. One German tourist came up to me and said "we don't have cars like this in Germany". My reply was "That's American muscle at it's best!"

Any thoughts on doing the sides of your rear spoiler in black? I think that might help the look just a bit more.

Did you retain the stock hood latch or just the Sparco pins?

I would love to. It's only about 10 hours from me. When is it? Wifey will want to kill me. She's not into the long drives

Jason, the car came out great, one of the best projects I have seen. Makes me want that hood for sure.
