I wanted an S, but also wanted to be able to drive it on the street. I guess I'll just keep building. I think I'm somwhere around 302K or 302L at this point

classic. I'm guessing you'll be somewhere around Boss 302+30k ;-)

but please don't get me wrong....that's the trajectory I'm going to be on too. I want (need) a car I can drive to the track. and the fact that there are all these 'trickle down' possibilities make the boss street car a great starting point.

You're absolutely right and to take it all the way to a 302S would probably be even more, but I have no delusions of going that far. I enjoy daily driving my Mustangs the 7 months of the year we don't have snow too much. The cool thing about the Boss is with a few mods you can be within shouting distance of the actual race car (that's winning) and still have a fun street car.
