Very nice! I recognized Brandon Ford from the first picture, and I saw your Boss on their inventory a few days ago! I haven't bought a Mustang from them (yet), but had a good experience with them when we bought a Focus from them a few years ago. They've always got a great inventory of Mustangs, that's for sure.

Congrats... and I agree with Onelildude... We need to get some of the local Mustang owners together sometime. I'll get my dad to bring out his Coyote-powered Bullitt, too.

I figured he meant it was in Tampa Bay, which might just be a strange coincidence since the T is right next to the Y.

Yep he's in the TB area and we should definately get a few people together and hangout

 

I have a few ideas for things that I want to mod.

1.) Clear 3M bra for front end and mirrors (getting installed Monday 7/18)
2.) Window tint (getting installed Monday 7/18)
3.) I hate the rear spoiler and want to put the pedestal spoiler on it
4.) Either adding fog lights to lower fascia or adding Factory HIDs (I have some take-offs), wiring harness from Ford is $300. just not enough light output at night time.
5.) Needs some sort of decal on back to designate it as a Boss 302
6.) Rear-view mirror or possibly visor with Home-link. I hate remotes hanging from visor or stuck in center console.

Those are just my immediate mods / thoughts I am kicking around

 

This week-end I am headed to French Camp, MS for a quick job. Mid week I am headed to Panama to trouble-shoot a control system for a power plant that was struck by lightning. Maybe a week long job. I'll let ya know when i am back so we can plan a get together

 

Yeah, definitely let us know and we'll try to figure something out. Maybe we can find some other Tampa area people on here, too.

 

So I get up this morning at 4am, get to airport..fly to Memphis, TN. Drive to French Camp, MS and get there at 10:35am. By 10:45am I have the problem fixed and I am back on the road headed to airport to get back to Tampa. Sitting in Memphis airport waiting for flight to Atlanta..then onto Tampa. Get in around 11:45pm. Lotta travel time JUST for 10 minutes worth the work. Hey..it's all over-time hours and the Boss needs mods....

 

Ha... Very nice! A lot of overtime hours for 10 mins of work. Then again, traveling can be worse than work sometimes these days.

 

I have been doing this for 20 years as of July 15th... I'm used to it. I have been trying to give the OT to some of the younger guys.... but the mods are calling!! It was scheduled as a 3 day job based on the last field engineer they sent to fix this issue.... newbies!!!

 

Nice... 10 mins is quite a bit more efficient than 3 days!

 

yeah, customer was not overly happy they paid the other engineer for 3 days of work and the problem persisted. Good part is they want me for their fall outage so more OT = more mods!!
