Well i took delivery of my new Boss 302 today and #0001 went to spend its life with a cool new owner with a fantastic Mustang collection. i didn't have much time today, getting ready fro my son's birthday party tomorrow. i took a few pics at delivery of both cars and a short video. the video is questionable, the rendering on YouTube makes the number plates very hard to see. They were clear enough to make out on the original. Watch in HD or forget about seeing any numbers.

i already took the restrictors out of #0333. i picked the kids up in it and my daughter though i was tricking her. i had to show her the Boss 302 floor mats on the new car to convince her it wasn't the same one! More pics hopefully this weekend. I have some tints for the lights i am going to try out, i think it will look good smoked out.

ignore all the talking on the video, a solider on his way home for leave saw the two identical Boss' sitting in the parking lot and whipped in to check them out and was asking questions. #0001 is on left and #0333 is on right.

i almost got ran over in #0001 going to meet the buyer. got behind a trash truck on a road with lots of gravel. went to pass and on a flat road the **** traction control kicked in and the car would not go. i though ti was broken for a second until i saw the stupid traction light. Car was so not spinning, i was at 80 in 5th. that was the most nerve racking ride of my life knowing i was rolling in a car worth $100k and if some moron hit me the deal was off.

 

Congratulations but I think those photos were photo shopped.

 

lol, I've been waiting for that, they are **** near the same angle and everything. you can see on #0333 on the right it still had the dealer stickers in the top right corner of the windshield and #0001 on the left doesn't. The apparently half prepped #0333. it still has the scratch film on the scuff plates and some white plastic still on the carpet in places.

you know one thing i noticed when i was under my new car pulling the restrictors, i think the side pipes are shaped different on #0333. i didn't pay that much attention on #0001, but i recall them were all one diameter to the tips. the side pipes on 333 are made form tubing that gets smaller towards the tips with multiple welds. any of you early build guys have pics of the side pipes, id like to compare. i never took pics under 0001.
