I stopped in at Red McCombs West in San Antonio, TX this morning and they were cleaning up a Black LS that just arrived. I can't believe that put a front plate on it...

 

Wait, that has the standard splitter on it! Do the LS's ship with a standard splitter installed and a second one in the trunk????

On the 2000 R the Splitter shipped with the car inside the car. It would not fit in the trunk.

I can't freakin believe they defaced that car by putting a plate bracket on there. I would go ape **** if it was mine and I had ordered it.

 

What Idiots! That's a deal breaker regardless if the State requires it.

You and me both. I've already had that conversation with the dealer where I ordered my car. He told me they never install the bracket on customer ordered cars. I have a Q2 order and will remind him several more times once I have my VIN.

 

I have heard that it fits in the trunk. No confirmation though.

 

Dealer told me the splitter is in the trunk...

 

Some people just don't care as much about their cars we do...

So you mean we LS buyers get BOTH splitters with the car ????????

I was actually thinking of buying the regular splitter but if this is the case then I'm all set !!!

 

The LS splitter mounts under the standard Boss splitter.

 

No it doesn't.

If the LS comes with the Boss splitter you will have to remove it before you install the LS splitter. Both splitters directly attach to the valance.

I see what you mean now. I was under the impression that the CS valance was exactly like the Boss. After taking a second look at the front of a CS, I can see the splitter attached to the bottom on the Boss.
