I trust all of you regarding the delay in production dates, but I'm still curious as to why. I've seen the BON thread and it's three posts, but corroborating information would be extremely helpful.

 

This really doesnt bother me a bit, as my dealer was telling me early second quarter, but with the winter we are having here in the northeast, the roads probably wont be cleaned up till June .

It is official, production date moved to the week of 1/31 (from 1/17) with a tentative ETA to dealer of 2/15.

 

Dig-It, the BON thread is the only info that I have seen. Ford usually isn't forthcoming regarding production delays! BON is a great source of info that often should be released to dealers so that they can tell their customers.

 

I know, BON is on the list of automotive/Ford/Mustang news sites I read often, if not daily. I haven't heard it anywhere else to include some second and third hand folks I know. I'm not questioning the fact that there is a delay, just as to the why.

 

Understand. I was simply making the point that the only good information that we will probably get is from BON, not directly from Ford.

I just wanta build date I ordered my gt on the dec 23 and have nothing.

 

Man I killed on the date was Jan 18 now pushed back to Feb.14 (to the day) with a 27th ETA at the dealer Almost a full month on the build Guess I will make an extra buck fifty in interest
