Backseat Install in LS?
I just received email confirmation from my salesman that they are willing to order a SBY Laguna Seca for me at X-Plan. Obviously an incredible deal that is very hard to pass up but there is only one problem. I need a backseat…
Have any of you guys seen or installed a backseat in an LS?

X-plan really isn’t the topic here. I’ve purchased from this salesman before. Whether its truly X-plan or matching X-plan price, it’s the same to me. He explained to me X-plan is dealer option, let me know if you what to write it up…
Question remains about adding a backseat in a LS…

You can easily add a back seat to an LS. First, you can buy the parts - simply the seat back and bottom. However, you would have NO trouble to trade your LS parts to a Boss 302 owner for their seats. You'd have a line of people willing to do this. Let me be in the front of the line if you are considering.

I forgot to mention that you will need to buy all of the seat belts as well. This will likely notch the price up a bit. Again, I think you could find willing parties to trade you straight across - just don't forget to ask for the belts in the exchange!

A back seat in an LS seems to be the definition of 'doing it wrong'. If you need a back seat you should buy a cheap daily driver, IMHO, and keep the LS intact.
