Well, if you aren't using your H-pipe setup, I'm definitely interested! Let me know what you think.

FWIW, a buddy of mine is the R&D mgr of a major exhaust manufacturer. I'm gonna be taking my car(Boss) into them within the next couple weeks for them to play with it and see if they can come up with something better and cost effective. After having to hold up the snorkels while I pulled out the disks, I can already tell there's major room for improvement as far as weight. Those things are freaking boat anchors. If they can make a better/lighter side-exit, and find there a market for it, they'll put it into production.

These ^^ guys have the Boss H-Pipe for $216.89+shipping

Part # comes up as CR3Z*5246*A when I look up the H-pipe / 5246-base part # on a Boss VIN in HVBOM

You need a few more things besides that part number to find it. I know most of the parts are CR3Z-####, but I don't know the full part number for many of them.

Some of the part numbers I pulled from Ford are:
-CR3Z5246A [H-pipe]
-5220 [side pipes](left and right)
-CR3Z5H294A [spacer]
-5B226B [gasket]
-CR3Z5C226A [gasket]
-17C438 [grommet]

There are also a few that are probably not necessary, such as nuts, bolts, and restrictor plates. I left those off. If someone can help me piece together the full part numbers for the remaining pieces, I'd appreciate it.

Using the link provided earlier in the thread for the exploded view, when I look up the same Boss VIN I looked up earlier, I get:

After the info Gabe provided, I was able to put together a parts list, and the total cost is around $720 without the nuts and bolts. If you take the restrictors out, it's about $20 less.

It's a lot when you consider what it is. It boils down to Ford service parts cost a small fortune for absolutely no reason.
