Drove mine down Friday. Radio never went on once. Love to do a cruise past the euro-iron in town.

I wish, mine's still on a train to the dealer. I've still got my current ride though.

That would be fun. I've always wanted to go to a F1 race but have never made it. I was hoping to go to the F1 race in Singapore in September but a reorg at work this week will keep me from traveling to Asia. Maybe Montreal next year. I'll be going to the Grand Am race at Laguna Seca in July so that should be fun.

Not a fan of Formula1, especially since Villeneuve left BAR ( British-American racing) .
But i love watching and going to Nascar races, usually go to 2 races a year ( Loudon N-H and Pocono PA ), that's my kind of driving.
Not so great wheatherwise for tomorrow's race here in Montreal.

I'm the reverse. Circle track is so boring (though I accept watching Indy). And somebody 'rubs' my car, they're gonna get beat about the head and face.
I like road courses. My issue with F1 is push button shifting. Put more driver skill back in the race.
I got to see the 77 Long Beach where the Lotus/Ford/Andretti JPS won. Since my car at the time was powered by the Lotus 907, I was stoked!
Later when in business, I always dreamed of making it big and following the circuit around the world for one season. That never worked out, but now I get to watch all of them without the risk of today's travel thanx to Speed & Dish DVR.

I've been to some 15 of so F1 races over the years (although still not been up to Canada to see theirs). Maybe next year I'll make a road trip with the Boss. Let's keep this idea/thread alive so that next year there can be a bit of planning say in Jan. / Feb. for the Canadian Grand Prix. Enjoy tomorrow's race.

Gentlemen. To miss the race in Montreal and the way the entire city supports it, it to miss out on more than anyone should. Book now for next year, I insist.

Sitting on a damp seat hoping the same thing. And realizing that there are indeed lots of "boss" types here.

Great race! Even with the rain delay.

Sent via satellite from my warm, dry couch in front of the HD.

The whole spring and summer so far has been crap. I barely get to push the Boss and I've had my '65 out once. Once?!?!?

tv said fri and sat were perfect.. i caught the last 10 laps by accident.. had recorded the race, but only put a half hour extension.. silly me! am shocked that fia red flagged and then let it run the distance, and more so that in usa fox covered it. though they broke into the speed coverage of the gt and st grandam race coverage from the glen, to cover the post race blah, blah.

hope the weather gets better!

beers

Yeah I totally shouldn't diss the weather because Friday and Saturday were nice in Montreal. And I had a great two weeks abroad in May. But back home in Ontario the weather has truly conspired against enjoying the simple pleasure of a car drive or walk for that matter for months. I'm hoping someone taped it back home as I'd love to re-watch it in its entirety.
