I am seeing a number of folks who have received their new Boss and are providing their initial impressions and driving experience. I have not see anyone who has taken delivery of an LS.

I am considering one and would be interesting in any actual driving experience on the street, likes and dislikes about the car, etc.

 

I'm in for this one. There should be one in someone's hands by now.

Still waiting for my LS. built first week. This is dragging out way to long.

 

Someone said 75 were already built, are they holding them?

 

One scheduled for delivery here next week unless we have some unknown delay. I should know by Tue or Wed.

 

Mine's currently on a train, two were photographed in a train yard in St Louis, another was seen at a MI dealership. They're out there, it's just no one on this site has posted ownership.

 

2 Dealers near me, 1 in MA and one in VT show regular Boss 302 in stock, but the NH dealer who ordered the LS is still waiting. Pondering a trip with the camera one of these days (Perf White and Race Red).

I'll try posting this again and hopefully without incident. I am waiting for an LS built Feb 18th and talked to customer service. I was told all cars on hold (not sure what that means) but FCS did not know why. Then I heard from another rep all cars are shipping. A FCS rep also posted that there were problems but now everything is okay and moving. If one car has a problem in the line, all cars are held until QC can determine what to do. I think (I do not know ) maybe there was a problem with just the LS so they are being held. If anyone knows more it would be good to hear.

 

My LS was built the week after yours. In between then and now there was a quality hold on LSs, and then the plant was closed for a week. Mine is now sitting on a railcar in FlatRock. It could be yours is in the same situation, waiting for a traincar to be filled completely before leaving the railyard. If your dealer can get you the railcar number, there is a tollfree number to track it.

That's one of the test cars from LS. There are at least a couple roaming the streets of SoCal. Hopefully someone takes delivery soon.

Okay just got off the phone with Jean (what a great person) of FCS. There was a hold on the LS but now is off. She did not know what the hold was. Anyway my LS will ship in the net few days so that's a good sign.

Kevin, when you get your Boss I have to see it. I have a yellow !970 Boss 302 and a 2006 Steeda Mustang so it was choice of the Yellow blaze or an LS. Hopefully I won't kick myself.

just saw a silver ls in my dealers showroom in louisville ky . it is sold and being shipped out of town. the front spliter must be in the trunk, it was not on the car.
mine is to be the next to be delivered (black ls) but they still won't give me any build or vin numbers.
sorry to say but the silver didn't look that great. and without the spliter something just didn't look wright. I'm sure it's me, it's been a long day, need sleep.

 

I don't know how the splitter could fit in the trunk. I don't think the seats fold down in the LS.
