I just installed the Cool Tech anchors and 6pt harness with a Corbeau harness bar this evening. I'm pretty happy with it. The only pain point is the upper factory belt points are a little fragile, ended up breaking a few small bits of plastic while tightening everything up.

Have been wondering if this setup allows movement in the event of a roll over b/c I always heard you needed a roll bar with a harness so you dont lose your head if you flip.

This is just an awesome set-up. I will one day do this and the rear seat delete but until then I guess I will have to try and find the single bar set-up so I can still use the harness and the rear seats (kind of). Anyone know where I can get the bar that just goes across the rear seats behind the fronts?

Me to i am also thinking of just doing a bar for now. But i do really like cool techs rear strut tower brace so i will problly go with a harness bar and the brace. Just to retain some rearseat function and also will not change my scca classification.

I don't claim it to be safer without a full cage. And you're right, if anything, it's less safe but I'm accepting the risk/reward trade off. You have to be in one serious accident on track to cause the kind of collision that would lead to the roof getting smashed in. Knock on wood, totally possible though.

If I were doing anything more than HPDEs in it, yes, I'd go full cage for the safety.

Got mine from American Muscle. You'll need a four or six point harness. Five is a no-go because there's no hole in the seats. And also the lower anchors, the ones from Cool Tech are great.
