Another Trackey Poll

Just for the Boss owners please. Everyone can say where they stand on the Trackey debate.

First vote!
I would have one more category. I have other mods to do first, then track key

I voted that I am happy, but only dissatisfied with idle, which is only a cosmetic feature.

The only thing I can do is ask nicely again that only 2012 Boss 302 owners vote in the poll.

I did think about that after posting but nothing was left out intentionally. People can vote the middle choice or wait till it is installed to cast a vote.

The warranty issue would have been another category to include. This is not meant to be a complaint.

I'm indifferent. I'd probably never really use the extra features given by the TrackKey, but I'm kinda curious how the car drives with TrackKey. I'm not really bothered one way or another. I'll probably end up getting it sometime down the road just to see what its all about.

I voted, based on reviews posted, and hearing a Boss with TK, I decided not to risk getting it. I initially planned to rush out and buy the tune. Now I do not want to deal with a warranty change and possible engine problems due to an aftermarket product.

I was ready to get TK on day one. Ordering mix ups screwed up my plans. But in light of many recent posts I'm kinda happy I didn't get the TK program. Hearing about blown Boss engines after TK is NOT a good thing.
Winter is almost here, the weather sucks and I wouldn't be driving the car anyway, so I think I'll wait till Spring and see how everything unfolds over the coming months.

Right now there is nothing to suggest that the tune caused any problems. There was one owner that said he had an engine knock combined with a cylinder misfire code and a second - second hand report. It can not be assumed this would be Trackey's fault. Even if these are problems are real it will take a while to determine if Trackey had anything to do with the problems.

While it might be something to think about I am very skeptical there will be a connection. I have run the Trackey without any problems, well besides the same problems as before (codes, CELs, etc).

Voted. Would have installed it if there were zero risk of warranty sacrifice. Didnt believe the benefit was worth the price (warranty). I may not keep the car and want the next buyer to be able to decide if they want it.
