Added LS Spoiler to my '13 GB

Had an LS spoiler I had picked up on eBay installed yesterday. It was a new Ford part painted Kona blue. Came with everything but the fasteners. Got it for $160 w/ $160 to paint matte black and install. It was a pain for the body shop to get the stock spoiler off. A few scratches to the trunk lid I was not happy about, but they were able to buff them out.

All that's left for exterior mods is figuring out what springs to run with rims and tires, and possibly MRT louvers.

Looks nice, I like the matte instead of gloss, seems like Ford was a little confused on the colors. The glossy wheels, matte livery, and then the matte wings. Any plans to get matte or gunmetal wheels?

Yes. When I find wheels I like, I'll be going matte black. And thanks!

NP, if you want cheap-ish and light I would check on the TSW Nurburgring or the Interlagos, or you could check out Forgeline which is a completely different price spectrum but apparently amazing quality and the competition wheels look amazing.

Thanks guys...left the underside the factory matte finish.

I'm sure there are boss guys interested in the whole lid so the don't have drill their stock hood for the LS.

Thanks. Wanted to make it my own, at least a little. It is such a great car as is. A lot of Boss guys go the Laguna 'Feca' route with the spoiler. Not too many with the roof. Hard part is finding unique rims that look good on a boss. There are a lot of nice rims, but the all look the same or so similar. I like my car to be unique.

My '08 GT500 i traded in was tasteful and unique. I think. I was running Konigs of all things with a red undercut lip to tie to my accent red and black stripes. Plus I ran the same width tire on the front as the rear which gave it a mean stance. Pretty sure nobody in the country ran the same set up. Konig said the rim would not fit but I wanted a concave rim before concave became the rage. Not too many choices available back then unless you wanted to spend $$$$.

So if want a cheap rim to clear Brembos that are different, check out konig. They still didn't believe me even after I sent photos.

Anybody got any suggestions? Not interested in GT500 wheels although I like the 13's, or Forgeline, RTR, TSW Nurburgring styles or similar. These are great rims but everyone and the mom has these.

Yes...like those, but they are fairly common and expensive.

Love it! I was thinking about doing the same on mine, but might end up opting for a 302S spoiler.
