Accufab TB?

Has anyone purchased and installed the Accufab 84.5MM Throttle Body on their Boss? Accufab says it comes calibrated and no tune is required. Just curious if anyone was running one yet and if there were any HP gains or lean condition issues.

There's a thread on S197Forums, but you'll need to register to read the board. http://www.s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=79266

The long and short of it was a guy with an internally stock Coyote with a Boss intake, long tubes, CAI and a tune (which they didn't change for the Accufab t-body) picked up a bunch of midrange power and torque, about 20 hp and about 20 lb-ft. Peak numbers weren't much different, and it looks like it lost a little before 3400 rpm. AFR went a little leaner, 12.86 > 12.99.

cant speak for that part, but i have seen dyno sheets where other brand TBs have lost power and torque.

I agree with Shane, because that has been my experience in all sorts of different setups. I usually don't consider upgrading the T body until I am doing major changes internally, i.e. heads/cam or stroker builds. Otherwise it is mostly counter productive.
