Laguna Seca cars are too rare to be classed in stock. Not everyone can get one. The normal Boss 302 is in AS. The Boss, the Boss LS, and a normal GT are all in ESP together where you can mod the car, and I could basically build a Laguna if I wanted. The parts re around, the cars are not.

As for whoever told the guy he was Super Stock and him being an SCCA guy..... well, he made a mistake, and I certainly am not responsible for him having done that. Which turned into a classic case of things getting blown out of proportion. Someone could have checked a rulebook themselves and seen it wasn't SS.
