Picked up the car at Koons in Baltimore from Tom. Great dealer, experience and even better a super knowledgeable salesman! He is their Shelby/Boss specialist(sidenote they have a 2011 Shelby SVT PP gray with no stripes for almost $3000 off sticker!!)
The car has 8.3 miles on it and had no power at all...till she rolled over to 12 miles!! Then it was unreal!! Tom said the Boss must have an engine protection protocal written in the ECu like the Shelby's to protect the motor when brand new. Anyway I am beat...but still removed the side exhaust silencers...sounds sick as ****
Pick of the silencer:
Stock it sounded identical to a GT...NOW it sounds like a real racecar!! Besides possible Longtubes and a tune I wont be changing the catback unless others show that it's restrictive...it sounds THAT good!

Congrats, and I look forward to hearing any sound clips you might get!

That is awesome! Enjoy it man! On the GT500 it was 5 consecutive miles or 50 starts to engage the supercharger. Sounds like a similar program for the Boss. Are you sure it was 12 or was it 13 :-)

I have a question about that silencer plate. I was wondering if you could get some dimensions on it for me? Possibly full scale scan it? How thick is it? I'm looking to make a few at work with different sized holes to see what they each sound like If not it's no biggie, but can't hurt to ask!

Thanks. I think you drill out the disc until you find the sound you like and you're done.
