2013 Boss at Boston Show
The Boston / New England Auto Show opened today. Here are some pictures. These iPhone photos don't really do it justice. It is pretty sweet in the flesh. I still prefer my 2012 but now that I've seen the 2013, I can really appreciate what Ford did. They made the 2013 truly distinct from the 2012, but still preserved the Boss character. Blue with black is phenomenal. Another Win for Ford.

Grabber Blue > GHIG
I am leaving soon with my 2 sons to the show. Will take a ton of shots with my Canon Vixia. Wish we could find out what pre production prototype this one is...

I was all about the '12 Boss being better looking, but with these new pics of the blue and the green one,I'd say it's a toss up now. The new nose and '70 stripes are really growing on me.

Am I mistaken, or is this the first Boss we have seen that has the stripes on the hood that extend over to the side stripes? I know the LS from the LA show with the sterling grey stripe doesn't do that... I like it.
EDIT: Just kidding. I just noticed it on the Gotta Have It Green from a while back. It must be an LS vs regular Boss thing.

Parnelli Jones' Boss 302 #15 had hockey stick stripes that ended at the fender. The 2013 LS is the more track ready car, it gets these stripes.
The 1970 Boss 302 (sold to the masses) connected the hockey stick stripes and the hood stripe. The 2013 Boss 302 is more like this car than the LS is, so it gets this style of stripe.
Not 100% sure it was intended to work out this way, but it sure seems like it.

Surprisingly I've had more positive than negative comments on my white roof. Just today at lunch someone commented how cool it looks. While I originally thought of painting it I now like how it sets the car apart from just about anything else on the road. Except a Mini of course.
