I started waiting on a new car in almost a year ago, in June....
waited till Nov... Ordered a Brand New 2012 ZL1 Camaro..... in second week of November... Ordered at the first opportunity...
I waited and waited (knew the car would ship mid march) then came Feb and the car was built. (keep in mind I sold my DD back in june of last year and am now driving a beater PU with over 230k miles) Then came the area 51 hold for all ZL1s. 483 cars were built..mine was #83 of the first 100 built...
Gm never would tell anyone to this date what the hold really was all about and got sick and tired of all the controversy around the whole dam thing...
Called my dealer up and told him to keep the car when it came in. I am now here hoping like hell this will work out for me as I am going on a year now since I started really waiting for a new car... LOL!
Anyway, I knew you would enjoy the race red photos!
I still can't decide which color boss I want though! Ill probably know tonight after getting my thoughts together and sleeping on it.
I would give a right ******** to get a build lower than the #83 that I had on the ZL1 though! Would be special!
But like I was saying.. Waiting is good for ya.. Builds character! And I can be quite a character!
It will be worth it though

btw, I mentioned somewhere either in this post or another since the ZL1 I had built was vin #83 that IF I could get a low number boss like #83 or less would be so cool... Your not going to believe what number this Race Red I have my eyes on is... Well you might believe it. It is # 85!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok.. you got to my heart here.
This is the one I have my eyes set on at the dealership as we speak.
If I can't get this one, they are gonna order me an identical one once Im ready... This one has recaros....
It is SOOOOOOO SWEET in person... I was toying back and forth back and forth between RR and GHIG.....UNTIL.... I seen the 13.... In person.
Ladies and Gentleman... forgive my iphone 4!
I was so ecstatic to take these pics the car was in line to Get prep...
I was shaking..and jumping for joy as this car was "talking to me" as it was soooo beautiful... you know that feeling you get when you can say to yourself.. "This is the one"? You know that feeling right?? Here HE is!

teddy- thx for the additional RR BOSS302 pix. i posted them on the "'10-'14 by color" thread as well. i too am on the fence on what to get; BLK or GHIG or RR. CO is my favorite but i perfer the options/changes offered for MY '13s. then there is the looming question- what SE will Ford have for MY '14... BOSS351 or Mach1 or ? thx again for the pix, if you come across any PW BOSS302 plz post. -cheers

I had originally wanted an LS because I wanted black.
BUT... since I really want a back seat, and do not want to pay the added price difference, then I thought maybe about buying GHIG, but after looking in person at both the green and red, I decided to go with a race red with recaros instead...

Great pics, the '13 RR looks nice
Is the rear spoiler on it a semi-gloss black?
Looked at a SBY 13 yesterday & the rear spoiler wasn't a hard gloss black like the 12's are, just curious.

****! I wasnt too excited about rr on the 12 but for some reason its just awesome onethe 13....oh wait nm now I know why...LOL theres no orange for 13!

bro.. To be honest I was so excited taking it all in I did not double check..
I thought they were gloss to match the wheels but looking at the photos looks to be flat....
I am tickled **** pink on this car... Ill be glad when I can take ownership of one.. and seeing other guys getting them for less than MSRP makes me double excited! Gonna be a great year!
