2012 Track Attack Dates
I look at it this way...we come to planet earth for a rather brief time, and we only leave with the memories. Let's make the ones that matter most to us while we are here. If underwater basket weaving gets someone off, great...but if it's all about driving this is a very inexpensive means to a high caliber experience (relatively speaking). I can't imagine coming this far and just doing one day personally, but I recognize money doesn't flow like a river. Do what you can legitimize, but know it's worth it.

I do agree, it is not the years that we live that makes it Life, but the Life you live in the years that you have ;-)
For me it is also an excuse to go see a few more National Parks. Cheers!
Two important points everyone...
Many did not receive the gloves Ford promised as part of Boss Track Attack. I didn't know this was part of the program, and have mistakenly replied to some inquiries from BTA attendees regarding how to get these...turns out there is an answer. Ford is aware their supplier ran out early and will be providing gloves to all who didn't get them during their time here.
More importantly we are out of dates for the remainder of 2012 as many of you know. Discussions with Ford on a remedy (more cars for more drivers) have moved along well, and it's anticipated that we could announce new dates sooner than later.
That said, once again we expect a land rush for these dates, so while you are busy with the holidays please carve out a moment to contact me with your BTA needs if you have not signed up already.
BTA has been a resounding success for everyone...thanks to all for affecting Ford's bottom line with your support for their products among your friends. If they continue to see positives you may look forward to similar promotions.

That's what we would do too, but we don't have the money to do so. If I had the money around, it wouldn't be an issue and I would do it in a heartbeat. But with the possibility of a kid coming along sometime soon, having a new 45k car, and only being 28 and married a year ago...it is hard to justify adding credit car debt to that list to take a vacation.

I wouldn't be too concerned. I was confirmed for one of the new slots (Oct 12th) last Thursday, and earlier that day Bryan told me that they had only completed about 10% of the applicants, so they'll propably get to yours soon. Just send Bryan an e-mail if you're concerned.

It'll be just a couple days before my birthday, so I guess I can consider it a birthday present to myself.
Still need to decide where to stay...
How are you guys getting notified--call/email from Bryan, system generated email, other?
I sent my word doc input to Bryan in October when the '12 dates came out--and priority ordered a bunch of dates because that's what he asked for knowing a bunch of people would apply.
Called just before Christmas, and he said they're entering everything into a new database, and its going slower than planned.
So how are some getting notified and I'm not?
BTW, I didn't upgrade to non-driving guest nor extra day.
I'd like to know my date so I can make summer family plans.

I registered in early December and I recall getting the email rather promptly. I was a bit surprised to hear some of you were not. That would be aggravating.
Sorry to keep y'all waiting, but BTA is just one of many programs we have to juggle. I was in Detroit last weekend doing the Yamaha school promotion and am in Scottsdale currently for the Barrett-Jackson auction to promote the Ford Racing high Performance Driving School. Gonna be about 3 weeks running without a day off...
:P
That said, if any of you are coming to the auction give me a call...we are giving hot laps in the Mustangs all week with test drives in new Fords. Back to BTA business next week...
Regarding online sales...while these aren't handled with the intimacy of a sales rep relationship there should be someone attached to the deal who is letting you know. Things can fall in the cracks despite our best efforts...but you can expect that if there was an issue with your online purchase you would have been notified by now. You may want to call the track and inquire, especially since many of us are at the auction another 6 days.

I had some questions and just contacted Bryan. Before that I called a number listed on the MMP website and they transfered me to the appropriate person and took care of all issues. If you have any questions call Bryan or the track........
