My saleman where I bought my Boss informed me that they have a Comp Orange Boss with Recaros and Torsen inbound that they are selling for $42,496 MSRP is $43575!!! It will be in by beginning of January

That's definitely a good price, but still more than I'm paying for my Boss equipped the same (CO, with both options). Mine is in transit with an ETA of 12/31. Thanks for sharing.

 

I paid less than that earlier this month.

 

There are still plenty of dealers here in So. FL with $5K to $20K market adjustments on their regular Boss inventory.

 

I think now, is the time dealers who still have mark ups will take a BIG hit.

I believe potential Boss buyers now know about the 2012 Boss MSRP and they also know 2013 Boss is coming out soon....
so I would guess the potential Boss buyers will wait for the 2013 Boss...
and this means 2012 Boss on dealer lots will not sell for even sticker.
....would you want to buy a "new" car and know in a couple of weeks, it'll be the old style?

and then the good news is these dealers WILL NOT repeat the ADM on 2013's

I know that here in So. FL dealers will no doubt continue with ADMs (Additional Dealer Markup) in 2013, and there will be buyers. Buying at sticker or less will be incentive enough to sell the remianing 2012 Boss. Also, there are buyers like me that actually prefer the unique looks of the 2012 Boss.

I could not agree with you more. But that's just me. The only thing that I do love about the 2013 is the reflective stripes.
But we will all see how sales go on the 2013.....Time will tell. Without any changes on the drive train and only on the body. It will be just a matter of taste, I would think.
I really want to see Got To Have it Green Tri coat in person. If its like yellow blaze Tri coat then pictures will do it no justice. Very hard to capture the true color of the paint.

 

Come spring, I dont think a dealer will have much trouble selling a competition orange Boss. Once the general public finds out there is no competition orange for 2013, 2012 CO Boss will sell quickly.
