X Plan Pricing?

Hello All,

Can someone explain the X Plan pricing and how to get it? Is it available on the new Mustang?

Thank you.

As far as I know multiply the invoice price by .004 and add 275.00. Not sure if packages are discounted also but that should put you in the ballpark. They have not added the 2015 pricing officially to the x plan website.

Go to MCA web sight and search for Xplan. There is a sight that explains it all. Once you get your PIN you can price out a car.

It is the best way to buy. My dealer did not charge me anything other than xplan - rebates. took 15 minutes to purchase.

I think your math is off.
Lets say invoice is 30,000.
30,000 * .004 = 120
120 +275 = 395.

I have a hard time believing you can get a $30,000 car for $395.

Probably multiply invoice by .004 then add that on top of the invoice price. Just my guess.

I gave the dealer my X plan pin and he was able to quote me X plan pricing. He swears he could only do pricing for coupes and not convertibles yet even though other members claim to have actually placed orders for convertibles. For a GT Premium coupe automatic with 50th anniversary appearance package (no other options) the X plan was right around $37,500.

I'm assuming there will be no incentives on these for a while?

Yes, Ford employees and their families qualify for A plan which is even more off than x plan. (Not exactly sure the formula for calculating that price, 4% under invoice sticks in my head, but I could be wrong) Ford retirees and their families qualify for Z Plan which is the exact same discount as A plan.
Both A and Z plan also limit the "dealer fees" to an even lower amount than X plan. I think X plan is limited to $100 and A,Z plan are 50 or 75.

Yep, a plan B discount. It`s the cheapest way to get a car. It does come with some serious risks though.

Z Plan on 2015 Mustang GT?

I'm eligible for Z Plan as my mother is retired from Ford. I've been to three Ford dealerships this week looking at 2015 Mustang GTs. Two dealerships told me that I can get the GT on Z plan. However, the third dealer today told me that ONLY the Ecoboost and V6 were being offered on Z Plan...but NOT the GT. Does anyone know who's correct? I really want the GT. Thank you all!

X-plan is the Invoice Total - 0.4% of the Invoice Total + $275. Or, in other words, it's 99.6% of the Invoice Total + $275. On a typical Mustang, that works out to roughly $150-$200 over the Invoice Total.

A/D/Z-plan pricing is available on 2015 Mustang GT's, not just EcoBoost & V6 models.

Dealers do not have to sell a car on the A,X, or Z plan.

They do if they want to keep being a Ford dealer. Now Ford will occasionally make it optional for some models. But I don't think a non GT mustang has ever been optional.

On my 2015 EB the X-Plan is going to save me around $2100.00, sticker to sticker comparison.

Via Ford.com my car builds out to a price of $35,408.00, via my company's X-Plan link the same options build out to $33,273.00.
