yeah, I concur... the father/son , 69/05 army one was probably best of them all... I'd forgot about the cornfield, and the father/son burnout one too- there were some really great ones for the 05...

But that one is closer to home for me than you realize. Kind of dusty in here right now......

Last June/July my son left for Afghanistan to assist with the draw down. In August my '95 GT convertible was totaled on my way to work. I've been driving his identical, but black, 1995 GT convertible ever since. It's been a maintenance nightmare since it needed so much done to it. I've replaced his suspension, rear end, brake system, worked on the tune and bugs the FI system has had with sensor issues, exhaust leaks, steering column swap, etc.... the list goes on. He was supposed to return in August and I was hoping to have his painted for him by then since my Daughter is getting married in 3 weeks and giving us back her old beater Honda as she starts her career as a teacher.
Now he announces he will be home early! But to my regret, there just isn't enough time to have it painted by then. I've even put off working on my baby in the garage to get his going as best as I could. He won't be getting this one, or my 2015 when it comes in.

But hopefully it will be running much better for him by then.
