I am getting ready to order a '15 GT and cant believe there are not any optional stripe pkgs available. I have looked at some cars and they are begging for some stripes. I saw an Orange car that really would have looked good with a side stripe and double over the top black stripes.

What are buyers doing for stripes? There aren't a lot of graphic places around E.TN.

I bought the materials from houseofgrafx.com

I emailed the owner with a custom order. Three 68 inch length of 8" matte black stripes separated by 1.75" with .25" white pinstripes. I brought the materials to a local window tint shop and got them installed for $180. The materials were $70. $250 total cost.

 

stripe options are usually done by the car dealerships and not worth the dollar spend imo. there are lots of companies offering you custom strips, AM, Big worm graphix and also if you have any local vinyl wrappers you can get better deals from them too.

 

I like the over the roof stripes on my GT500 and the side stripe. I've found several places to buy, now I need to find a competent installer.

I agree - I am considering both Competition Orange and Triple Yellow. Both of these colors cry out for a good stripe treatment.

 

I am trying to make up my mind between these two also. I have never had a yellow car but I do like them. The orange is an excellent reddish orange that will really detail well after some polishing. Right now I am leaning toward the orange. I think there will be less on the road and I can get the ceramic interior. I am getting sick of black. I liked it when you could get LOTS of interior colors. Decisions,decisions. This is the fun part of buying a new car.
